capture distorion between clips

Apr 29, 2012 3:20 AM

when I capture a footage (made of few clips) from my Sony fx1000, I get a distortion between the clips.

attached an example in slow motion. (http://youtu.be/7AoU7s-Cqh8).

is there a way to avoid it?

thanks

Capture does not change your footage in any way. The distortion you notice must have been created at an earlier stage, during the shoot or due to imagination or OE.

The red frame is inserted by PP when frames are dropped during capture.

The mosaic is just a read error, some 'digital noise' often cause by dirty heads.

I have the FX1 and while capturing Premiere will tell you if you dropped frames.

Try and re-capture that part again and see if you get the same results.

if its good then just sync that part up that is bad.

Try capturing with HDV split, see if that makes any difference.
