Problem with MP4 output

Apr 29, 2012 12:09 PM

The quicktime export works fine with Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD 11. However the MP4 output which imports into Avid Studio crashes the Sony product. Original files are from Nikon D7000 and Olympus E-PL1.  I'm running windows 64 Bit 7, 16 Gig's of memory, and 3 Tbytes free storage.

Hello, before someone chimes in with a technical answer, please change your username to something else than an email address to avoid spam.

Could you share the settings you used for MP4?

Hi, I still see your email username, What do you want to change it to?

Could you re-explain, it's when you output with a youtube profile that vegas crashes, but when you output to harddrive with the same settings, it works?

Glad it's working for you Jeff,

I'm going to edit all of your posts to remove the email address from them.

I've also put in a request to change your username to D7K -- Hopefully we can prevent some potential spambot spam!

Alright Jeff, Here is how we change your username (screen name).

The forum here picks up the username from your AdobeID, so here is how you change your name in your Adobe ID.

    Go to http://www.adobe.com

Click on "Welcome, Your Name" at the top right side of the page (under the Adobe search field)

         Click on My Information

Sign in with your current Adobe ID if prompted (you should now be on the My Information page)

You will find your screen name in the second (My personal profile) section

Scroll down to the My personal profile section

Make your changes here and click to Save your changes

Then go to http://forums.adobe.com and see if the change happened. If not, sign out of the forums.

The next time you sign into the Forums they should pick up this change from your Adobe ID account.

You'll want to change the username from something other than an email address which email-seeking-spambots can pick up easily.

    Looking forward to the namechange,

    Cheers,

    Pete
