I've downloaded Adobe for years with total satisfaction.
Suddenly I can no longer copy sections of Adobe pdfs - the result is hieroglyphics. Is this because you no longer permit copying; and is this change motivated by your intention to get people to pay to access your documents in future with an annual subscription?
Both these projects are perfectly acceptable in a Capitalist world - but why not tell people what's happening???
I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble. We haven't introduced some new limitation to the PDF specification to cause problems. If you're unable to copy sections of specific files, it's probably due to one of these 3 factors:
I think you'll find that you can still copy and paste content from files you've used in the past and from other files you come across. This issue sounds specific to some particular files you have. I can assure you that we don't require a subscription to access documents. Our ExportPDF service is designed to help those who'd like to convert their files to an edit-friendly format.
