Apr 30, 2012 8:54 AM

Hello everybody...

I was drawing a polaroid cam, and i needed to use the blend tool......once a choose the spacing as specified distance, the option was 0,1 and was going to change it.....to 0,2....but i dont know why, suddently another windom came in front of the blend option window......was the value option for this tool......asking me to choose between 0.1 to 35.27 cm......and when i press start, it returns to the previous window and immediatly turns into the value option windows again......and again and again....i try "esc" button....try to choose as number as fast as i can.....but this keeps going on and on....

Does someone can help me.. please.....

See attached picture to understand...

Thanks

Try Specified Steps instead of Specified Distance. As long as the blend is live you can adjust the number of steps afterwards.

What happens if you just hold down the ESCAPE key?

Have you got two objects or groups selected? Did you click on two corresponding anchor points?

Navigate away from the blend (maybe with Escape) and start over.

I've hit this loop before. You hit enter and the error pops up, hit enter to dismiss the error... and the error pops up.

    You have 2 options....

    1) Force Quit AI and lose any unsaved work.

    2) Rapidly alternate tapping the ESC and Return keys one after the other. If you do it fast enough, you should be able to escape the blend dialog and get out of the error loop.
