Folks - I am praying someone can help me please. I have a tight deadline for getting something to the printers.
My HDD on my PC went with a plop this week. New disk is in and all up and running with Adober Creative Suite 5 and Adobe Acrobat 9 pro all re-loaded.
I am having trouble printing a page (which was giving no issues on my previous install) to export to PDF, so I am guessing I have a setting wrong somewhere in Illustrator.
I am trying to export this file to a PDF Print format.
And it comes out in the PDF with a fair bit of the text missing, like this.
I am panicing as I have to get this to the printers within the next hour. Is there anyone that can help me solve this problem please?
Yeah, I can sense you are stressed -- you posted in the InDesign forum! You probably get a faster answer on the Illustrator forum. which can be found here: http://forums.adobe.com/community/illustrator
Sorry Peter - what is Yousendit, I am not familiar with this?
Also - I correct myself, I think I am in the right forum. It's an export of an Indesign file I am having problems with, not Illustrator. I have a typo in my post, more hurry less speed!
You should be getting an email from YouSendIt.com with a download link, but here it is, just in case https://www.yousendit.com/download/M3BrblFJWlRRR2R3SGNUQw
Hi - the upgrade to 7.04 fixed my problem, and the upgrade was free. I assume such an update can also be done for free with CS 5.5, but not sure?
If you want - PM or email me the file you are trying to export and I will try it for you to see if using 7.0.4 sorts the problem.
hey - on line with adobe support now they are stumped.
i am running current updated software....
the file is 89 mb - are sure you want me to senfd?
may be too large?
but i need to work with it....
Gees no my email file won't handle a file that big
But - if you can get it into the cloud on a file share somewhere, or get it somewhere I can FTP it, I will gladly convert it to a PDF for you if you are stuck.
