Webdvd issue with Joomla website

Apr 30, 2012 10:46 AM

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to embed a webdvd video directly into a joomla-based website, but so far the only way i've managed to make it work is to configure the html path so that it opens in a popup window, and i'd like to embed it (and play) directly inside the website. Is it possible, or are there restrictions ?

Worst case I can keep the popup system, but I'd like to minimize the user operation to a single click and play.

Thanx in advance!

I think, if you want to display a WebDVD, the WebDVD files must be the only files on the web site, Rocool.

Does Joomla give you a blank web site that you can load with your files, or is it a template that you drop content into?

Clearly something on Joomla is stopping the WebDVD files from performing as they should.

    That likely explains it.

The Joomla system is interferring with how the HTML files work.

You can still use an FLV on the site in your Flash player.  You just can't have menus or use the WebDVD structure.
