Just upgraded to LR4-Having issues with transition from Library to Develop mode.

After installing the upgrade and upgrading my entire LR3 catalogue, i was excited to start exploring the features. I had an image I had selected in Library mode, which in the past I've easily been able to click 'D' and transition into Develope mode and do my thing. It seems that I keep getting a message that no photo is selected. So, after trying a few times and noticing the new sliders were not even represented on my module, I uninstalled it, reinstalled it...and now see the new slders....but still cannot get an image to show up there. What am I doing wrong? Never had this problem. Thanks for any help with this.

    You might want to update to LR4.1 RC2 from:  http://labs.adobe.com/

    Try this:

    Library Module

    Grid

    [ \ ] to activate filter bar

    From the pull down on the right, select Used

    Then select Unused

    Then select Filters Off

    Does it work now?

    Hi Rikk...no that didn't help....I just downloaded that update to LR4.1 RC2...going to give that a whirl...maybe its a bug that needs fixing....I was so excited to start working on some images and this has really frustrated me to no end. Thanks for your input

    Thanks for trying it. I am chasing a different bug with similar symptoms and I know that works sometimes.  the RC2 is the next obvious place to go as Steve says.

    Hi ssprengel, I checked out and downloaded that update ( to LR4.1 RC2) and after restarting my system, it seems to be working properly now. YAY   Thanks a bunch!

    Alright...to update my previous response....I do get a photo now in my develop mod however I have lost my new updated adjustment sliders ....what the......???

    There was an exclamation on the images which after viewing Julieanne Kost on one of her tutorials for this new LR4, she had mentioned something about updating Camera callibration....to 2012, which I did...and now I see the new sliders panel.....not sure if THAT did it, but I'm going to play now. Thanks guys for trying. Your help is very much appreciated.
