On IPAD does not SUM contents of related boxes

Hallo,

I create a file with some sums related to the numbers on some text boxes.

In Acrobat Reader for Windows everything works correctly, but not with Adobe Reader for IPAD.

Do you have any idea?

Do you need the file?

    Calculations are performed with JavaScript, event the built-in calculations. Adobe Reader for iOS does not support JavaScript.

    thanks for your reply.

    Everything is clear. Steve had wrong ideas about sw, IMHO.

     

    George, what can you suggest me in order to resolve the problem?

    Do I have to learn Objective C?

    There is at least one non-Adobe PDF viewer for iOS that has decent support for JavaScript and automatic calculations with Acroforms.

    The current version of the Mobile Reader does not have support for JavaScript of any kind. We are investigating whether or not this is something we can add in the future.

    thanks for this feedback.

     

    I tried to investigate, but there is a mess of pdf readers.

    Are you sure there is one of them that has JS support for IPad?

    Hallo Pawi,

    we hope you will find a way for this......Not such a pretty thing that IOS does not support Java!
