RH 9 - Issues with font colors/hotspots/hyperlinks

When using the "View Selected Item" feature in RH 9, all of the drop-down hotspots are appearing in red font. However, when I actually generate the output, they are the correct color according to the CSS. Also, my hyperlinks stay red once they are clicked even after the browser is closed and reopened. Red is what we set as the visited color but we don't want the links to stay red forever. And the drop-down hotspots should not be red at any time. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks in advance for any input!

I think the visited colour staying around has to do with your browser cache, and not controlled by RH. You could test this by visiting a link so that it is red, then clearing the browser cache and seeing if the link is still red.

Possibly you need to define specific link/visited etc colours for your drop-downs, like a.dropspot:visited, otherwise the links (they are just A elements) will use the default colours for links.

Hi,

Just to clarify: Amber is right. The browser tracks which hyperlinks are clicked. When you remove browsing history/cache, the hyperlinks will revert back.

Thanks Amebr and Willam, that does seem to turn the visited links back to the original color. Any ideas on the first question? However, when I actually generate the output, they are the correct color according to the CSS" It is not a huge issue but more annoying than anything.
