Hi
I am trying to open an update for Acrobat Pro 9. The file extension is .msp.crdownload and Windows XP doesn't open it. How can I open and install the update?
Thanks.
Nancy Pedem
I get a message to check for updates and it takes me to an Adobe download page (sorry I don't have the link right now).
I just ran the program and asked it to check for updates and I got a message back that none were available. I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.5.1.
I guess I will close this for now but I may be back if I keep getting the update que and so many glitches. Couldn't get program to work at all yesterday but today was able to use it. I had a power outage yesterday and maybe that did something to my whole system. I have cleaned things out.
Thanks for posting this in the correct place. I will stumble along for now. Can't afford newest version.
Just got sent to a page that has an update for 9.5.1 and a general filter update but I lost the link. When the program asks again I will come back in here and post the page. All the downloads are .msp. I lost the link and am having trouble finding it again. When the program prompts me next time I will come back in. Damn.

Finally found the page with updates in the extension .msp for updating my Acrobat Pro 9.5.1 Here is the page where an update (or two, I see there are filters also to download).

Let me know if you know a way I can convert these downloads so that Windows XP recognizes them. Many thanks.
Nancy
Since you are on Windows XP, you should be able to download the updates (they have to be installed in order from the version you have to the latest). After downloading them, just double click on them to start the process. They should be recognized by your OS as windows install files and continue with the update. If your OS does not recognize them, then you have something messed up in your OS.
