I've created a template, now I want to go back and edit it. Is there a way to open and edit the actual template file (maintaining it as a template)? Or do I have to open the file, thereby creating an Untitled document, make the necessary changes, then Save As a template, overwriting the existing template?
I hope that makes sense.
In addition,
(1) You can always open a regular document as an untitled copy -- use the bottom radiobutton for that.
(2) Legacy documents -- older than the version of InDesign you are using -- will show "[Converted]" in its title bar and will attempt to "save as", and -- quite annoying -- in the last folder you visited, rather than the folder you opened it from.
