I have created two separate video project in Premiere Pro CS4, when I export via dynamic link to Encore one exports with both video and audio, the second only exports video and no audion. However, when i look at the properties of the asset the Media Category indicates video & audio. Any suggestions?
Lots more information needed for anyone to help... starting with your source video and going on to your project settings
Read Bill Hunt on a file type as WRAPPER http://forums.adobe.com/thread/440037

What CODEC is INSIDE that file? http://forums.adobe.com/thread/440037
.
Report back with the codec details of your file, use the programs below... a screen shot works well to SHOW people what you are doing

.
If you have a red line over the timeline after importing a video and before adding any effects... your project is wrong for your video... read above about codecs
.
Once you know exactly what it is you are editing, report back with that information... and your project setting, and if there is a red line above the video in the timeline, which indicates a mismatch between video and project

I have found the problem – the PPro on my PC is not working right. I took the files to another computer that has PPro and was able to use the dynamic link to Encore and audio was present. So I will have to reinstall CS4 on my laptop.
Thank you for all your help and suggestion, I learned a lot!
