All images pixelate?

Hi,

 

When I add any image to the default canvas it pixelates when resized ?

I am unable to use Photoshop Touch on my new iPad.

 

How do I fix this ?

    Hi Sean,

     

    Does the same thing occur if you start with a 1600x1600 project? That is the max project dimensions supported by the app. Depending on the size of the source image and how much you are downsampling it, the quality will degrade.

     

    Is it possible to post a screen shot example?

    Hi,

     

    I see that 1600 x 1600 on the new Retina iPad defaults to 50 % zoom, and so when you zoom to

    100 % the images improve but are hard to work with when at 100 %

     

    The screen is much higher than  1600 x 1600 and so you should be able to view an image of this size at 100 and fit on the screen.

     

    As soon as you increase or decrease the zoom the images pixelates.

    I think this is a limitation of the scaling algorithm built into the app.
