Can anyone provide insight into when (or if) LR3 / LR4 will support the Canon 5D and T3i on Lion? The Canon software for these cameras in the Lion environment has been available since January/February of 2012 - seems a long lag time to not have this support in LR3 / LR4. This has been a nuisance for a while, the lack of support for these cameras is becoming problematic the longer time drags on.
I have the LR4 RC2 in place now, but the same lack of support still seems to exist.
FWIW, the Canon software works fine for both cameras under Lion - and I'm aware of the trick to have LR monitor an import folder from the EOS utility... but this is pretty clunky.

It's not the Canon "software" Adobe needs...it's the Canon camera SDK. That's the toolkit Adobe needs to have tethered support. And Canon is often pretty slow about releasing new & updated camera SDKs. Do you know if Canon has released updated Lion compatible camera SDKs?
I suppose that's the answer - Canon's SDK was released 4/11/2011, and supports Mac OS X through 10.6 (Snow Leopard) only... Seems Canon is still the culprit, not Adobe.
One would think they use the same SDK in releasing their own drivers, utility and application software (since these exist for Lion), but apparently not...
