I need to add a white outline to a sponsors eps logo and I am using Illustrator CS2 V 12 can anyone give detailed instructions please. Thank You*
Try this
1. Group the shapes of the logo live type and shapes and all.
2. in the Appearance Panel highlight the group
3. then from the Apopearnce panels flyout select to add an new stroke
4. then drag the new stroke below the contents of the group in the Appreance panel
5.give the new stroke the weight you want and make the color white
OK sorry, I am very new to all the abilities of Illustrator, I apologize. Basically I have a sponsors logo and I am placing it on pre-designed eps number plate which has a background very dark as is the logo. I am self taught and I know I can add a white ouline to the logo, I just do not know all the steps, so I would need a good detail as to how this is done. Sorry I really am new to this and working in an older than current Illustrator CS2. If this does not help what can I add to help someone help me?
It is right there in my post.
