I am trying to open d800 raw files on elements 7.0. Any help please.

You can only use the latest verson of the free standing DNG converter, since the next version of ACR (6.7) is not compatible with PSE 7. See this discussion for further details: http://forums.adobe.com/message/4309622#4309622

Nikon D800 is supported in today's ACR update by Adobe - http://bit.ly/KNmXR2
That does not alter the fact that the OP only has PSE 7.

Waiting will not do you any good. You'd either have to upgrade to PSE 10 or use the DNG Converter version 6.7:
