Yeh I'm having the same problem as bresesma.
Here's my crash report. Seems to be whenever I select type tool and open a new document, it freezes and I have to force quit and re-open to enter type...
If you can help anyone? Thanks!!!
Please start a new thread (I can't branch this one becuase of the responses) for your crash. It is NOT the same.

done!!!-... i updated to 7.5.2

I believe this is an error reading the PDF joboptions file at startup.
Have you tried a seperate user account?
If not, try going to /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe PDF/ (that's the Library folder at the root of your hard drive, not your user ~/Library), and moving aside the context of the Extras/ and the Settings/ folders.
Also, 7.5.3 came out last night, you could try that as well.
