pixilated photos on slideshow

Hello,

 

I have recently upgraded from adobe premiere 7 to adobe premiere photoshop elements10. I have about 5 years old computer with windows xp pro. I have made slideshows with adobe 7 in the past but with adobe10 slideshow plays with pixilated pictures and bit jerky also. Is there something in the setting I can do to sort this out ?

    Have you rendered your timeline?

     

    If you press Enter when there are red lines above the clips on the timeline, the program will create a temp preview file (the red lines will turn green) and your playback should look much more like your final output.
