Question from a newbie ...

May 2, 2012 8:23 AM

Hi all,
I have couple of projects or for a couple of revistats with DPS but the client piede me to carry out a version for iPhone and other iPhone ... ¿I can do both projects with drawing layouts DPS?

Know if you can utilitzar DPS for an iPhone, and if so what would be its size layout, with the iPad 1024x768 ... which would be the iPhone?

Thanks and apologies if the question is absurd

DPS would have iPhone Support very soon, keep a track on upcoming releases.

On your question regarding dimensions :The iPhone 3GS has a 480x320-pixel dimensions. The iPhone 4 and 4S models have 960x640-pixel dimensions.

And there you go, DPS now has iPhone support. Documentation on how to make custom viewer apps for iPhone would be updated soon.

You would need to upgrade the Producer Tools to v20. Also, you would need to build a v20 app via the Viewer Builder.

Yes. Renditions are supported for the iPhone/Retina display in the same manner they're supported for the iPad as well.

Do I need to download an Adobe Content Viewer to my iPhone to preview my iPhone publications?

Yes, However the Adobe content viewer that would support iphone is not live yet. You would have to wait for sometime before all this goes live and for the new Adobe Content viewer to get to App store. If you have a Professional or an Enterprise edition of DPS, then you can make your own customised content viewer. Plus you would need to purchase a Professional or an Enterprise Edition to make your iPhone App.
