Red files won't import into CS5

Hi all,

I shot some footage yesterday on a Red Epic. The files are .rd3. Premiere Pro CS5 is suppossed to have native support for Red files, but they won't import - I get a "file import failure" message. The error says "unsupported format or damaged file"

The files aren't damaged.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

CS5 supports pre-Mysterium-X RED One media. To import later builds and media from Epic/Scarlet, you need the RED Epic importer.

The new CS6 will have support for this built-in.

Thanks Jim, but that importer is for CS5.5 only - I already tried it with CS5 and it doesn't work!

Premiere Pro CS5 can't import Epic files. Not even with the Labs importer. That's just for CS5.5.
