I was replying to Noel, acknowledging his providing the links since no one else had, and describing why I had not. It was not a criticism, only a supporting fact to my explanation.
Adobe Updater should have alterted you to the existance of an update, already, yesterday, so there shouldn't have even been a need to come asking for links. Adobe should also have put the links to ACR 6.7 at the top of their main Updates page, like the always have done in the past. It is unfortunate they are making people select ACR from the dropdown at the top to find the update links.
Now that it's been a few months, I'd like to open this up again.
I have PSE 7.0 and a Canon 5d Mark iii. The plug that worked for my 5d mark ii cannot open the Mark iii files.
Is there a plug for 7.0 that will work for the Mark iii?
I have lightroom and can use it, I also have the Canon software. So I am able to open the files and do what I need to do. I would prefer to have Elements available as well.
Thanks!
Michael
SSprengel means well; I'm sure he didn't mean to offend.
Adobe seems to have fallen down a bit in keeping their product update web pages all current. They really should have Camera Raw 7.x links as well on the downloads page (e.g., http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=39&platform =Windows or http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=39&platform =Macintosh).
Anyway, glad to help.

The ACR 7.1 update is listed as the 17th item (I think) on the Downloads page, and the ACR 7.1 update is the 5th item on the Downloads/Updates page.

Elements 11 was released, today, also available on the Downloads update, and I would expect it can be upgraded to the current version of ACR that supports the 5D.3, although I haven’t tried, so testing with the trial might be prudent, unless someone with Elements 11 can confirm what version of ACR it can be updated to, currently.
