We "upgraded" to Flash Player 11.2.202.233

Hi Anyone out there having the same issue?...we upgraded to Flash player 11.2.202.233 and now virtually all of the flash videos that we have posted on client websites have aspect ratio issues.  The vertical height is perfect, but the horizontal width is compressed about 40% ..."squished".  The video plays fine all the way through, but the width is a mess.  What to do?  I am afraid that if clients "upgrade" to the new player they will be calling us to "fix it"!!!  Any ideas? Thanks.

Could you provide links so I can test this out?  If you'd like to keep these private, please feel free to email me directly at ccampbel@adobe.com.  We'll be doing a beta 3 release soon, but you might want to give our Flash Player 11.3 beta 2 release a shot to see if the issue is resolved.

    Thanks,

    Chris

    Hi Steve,

A developer investigated the issue further and she said:

Arizonawine.org is using incorrect ActionScript code to set the movie size. Loading a video is asynchronous so assumptions should not be made about when the size is available.

Instead the AS code should use a timer (say once a second) and set the size when the Video.videoWidth and Video.videoHeight is available.

    Thanks,

    Ryan
