Suggesting search alternatives

Now the client wants the site search to suggest alternative searches. eg; 'Did you mean .......'.

This I am pretty sure is out of the scope of Business Catalyst?

Ask them why they feel they need this?

That is heading to quite some smarts. Bet they just like it from google and want it. If you find that the case you just need to explain to them what it takes for google to tick

I think its been requested as a wishlist item in BC but I doubt it would be something we see in the near future.

Thats what I figured. Already told them that it would cost the millions that Google has put into that. No they don't need it just wanted it. The regular site search in BC is probably more than the 'need'.
