Adobe Reader X, No Find Results

Hi guys and girls,

I have a problem here.

I know you had this question tons of times but it is different from all the other.

When I use the Find option in Adobe Reader X it comes out with no result, I am 100% sure that the word is in the document since i can see it.

The PDF is not scanned and so no image. Alse the text is selectable and copyable.

Could it be something in the options?

OS = W7 Enterprise SP1 64bit

I hope you guys can help me out.

Thanks in advance,

    Is this happening just with one specific PDF, or any PDF file - e.g. easeNote_10.1.3.pdf ?

    And please do ask that person that is he seeing the issue when PDF is opneed in browser or when PDF opened in Adobe Reader itself. If it is only in browser, ask the person to use 32-bit Internet Explorer and not the 64-bit one.

    Hi KePEn,

    Please make sure he is using the latest version od Adobe Reader i.e. 10.1.3.

    What exactly is the problem, is he able to search only the first instance and not the others?

    Hi KePen,

    Please try the following:

    1. Open Reader and go to Edit->Preferences->Search.

    2. Click "Purge Cache contents" and uncheck "Enable fast find".

    Hope this solves his problem.
