Multiclip zoom Premiere Pro CS5.5

May 4, 2012 1:09 PM

Hi,

I am doing an animation with hundreds of still images and am wondering if its possible to do a Multiclip Zoom on Premiere Pro CS5.5. All other tutorials show only zoom with 'one' clip which is usless for animation. It is a standard feature on Sony Vegas, its strange if the so called professional Premiere Pro does not have it.

Thank you,

If you want all the stills to do the same zoom movenment then apply the zoom to the first clip.

Select clip in the timeline and copy, then select all the other stills and paste attributes (rightclick).

Ann's method should get you what you want, or at least very close.

However, it is not really so strange that PrPro does not allow one to automatically apply a Zoom to a Still Image, or to apply Random Pan & Zooms. Each Image is unique, and the "subject" of each will be different, even if only slightly so.

The beauty of Ann's method (and PrPro's method), is that one can easily do the "mechanics" for all Stills, and then easily adjust the exact Zoom (and any Pans), to accommodate each Still Image.

    Good luck,
