Help with text that changes to different text

May 5, 2012 10:23 AM

I got PS CS5.5 windows, 64 and I got an old business card that need to update some text on it.

When I click in any text, it change to a different text.

For example, if I got the name ( John Doe ) and I need to change it to John Smith,

as soon as I click in the text, it change to a another text that is below or above that text.
Any ideas why is happening?
Thanks

Someone reported a problem like this against the Photoshop CS6 beta, and it left some kind of corruption in the file that caused it to go wacky when they would subsequently try to edit the text.

You didn't happen to edit and save ths business card with Photoshop CS6 beta at some point did you?

Actually, what I believe Pattie said there was specifically that they didn't actually correct the content of the .PSD file that the poster had provided to Adobe.

I seriously doubt Adobe is going to release Photoshop CS6 with an obvious bug that corrupts users' text in documents.
