Best way to create animation in Flash and import into Premier Elements?

May 6, 2012 10:28 AM

Very short, 5-10 seconds, very simple animation. I would like to import it as my intro but I don't know what file format to export as from Flash, that would import well into PE? I am using Flash CS5 and PE 10. On a Mac 10.6.8...

Thank you

Not sure of more recent versions of Flash Pro, but from my Studio 8 version (Macromedia then), I used AVI and set my Stage to 720 x 480 (I am in NTSC-land), with the MS DV CODEC.

On a Mac, I would look at 720 x 480 Stage (if you are NTSC - adjust for PAL, if in PAL-land), MOV format, and probably the Animation CODEC. Is that available to you?

    Good luck,

There are basically three ways to adjust apparent Volume in PrE. This ARTICLE lists them.

If one needs to go beyond the limited adjustments, I would suggest doing that work in an audio-editing program. I use Adobe Audition, but there are many more, from the great, little, free Audacity (do not know if it's ported for Mac?), to various DAW programs, and also CyberLink and Magix.

    Good luck,
