Am I correct in that this is available now but that for those who preordered the Creative Crowd we aren't able to download any of this software yet? Or can we download the trial and then authorize it somehow when CC is "officially" released? Thx!

Here's what the FAQ document says in response to your question:

"For those who have preordered Creative Cloud, to start using Creative Suite 6 today, you can download any CS6 product as a fully-functional 30-day trial. Starting May 11, once your Creative Cloud membership is active, you can easily enable ongoing access to the CS6 products you already installed, without having to reinstall."

Fortunately, Adobe has the Premiere DMG up for direct download, so I'm doing that instead. But you might want to let your Mac guys know about the Akamai issue.

Fortunately, I noticed that only the Adobe Download Manager using AIR came up. I don't have to let Akamai anything into my system.
