Hi

Is this the official method for reporting installation problems of new applications?

I have just installed Production Premium CS6 - I received an error message at the end (see below) that Prelude failed to install - All other apps installed ok

Can anyone help or direct me to where I should be asking this question

Would also be interested to know what all the warnings mean. I currently have CS5 and CS5.5 trail installed.

Many thanks

Chris Anderson

Yes it is usually advisable to keep your applications and OS on the same partition.  You can certainly try installing to a different drive but if you do have difficulties it is advised to install on the main drive.  This is especially important with the complication of the file structure for our software's installation.

Which operating system are you using?  Can you please try running the Adobe Support Advisor - http://www.adobe.com/support/loganalyzer/ to see if it can identify the source of your difficulties.

Hi Jeff,

I contacted adobe support chat. I had installed on drive K to keep programs from the main o/s drive. TThe tech support chap said I should install always on drive C to avoid the errors.

I dont understand why this hould be, but i did it and all ok now - no errors.

I wonder why the install program gives you the option of installing on any disk when you can only use the o/s disk

Thanks

Chris Anderson
