Hello Thomas
Would it be possible for you to use something like Jing or ScreenR to record what you are seeing, then post the link for us to view? Just work your way through the process and show us your dialogs then show us the output as well as how you are viewing it.
Cheers... Rick ![]()

This is my first time through this. Using Screencast, I’ve created a video that walks through my file system, opens the project, accesses a couple topics, shows their properties, opens the generated htm., and shows the two topics that do not show breadcrumbs and one that does. The topics that don’t show breadcrumbs are, I believe, the only ones. The folder is public and called Robohelp.
Ok, first observation is that the path to your project is super-long. The second is that you didn’t really show the process you go through to generate the help. You show that you are using a master page, but didn’t show if it has the breadcrumb placeholder or not. Maybe Rick has some other ideas?
The Master Page doesn’t use breadcrumbs. They are assigned at the project level when I generate. I’ll do another video after we hear from Rick. Another problem I have is I cannot import the Master Page I want to use. RH claims it’s already in the project (It is available from the individual topic properties drop-down list). However, the Master Pages folder in the Project Set-up is empty. When I video the generating process you’ll notice the Master Page field in the Additional Options section is blank as well.
Hi Thomas
As always, ensure you have a decent backup in case things go south.
Indeed, you should be able to move the project around with relative impunity as long as everything remains in its respective relative folder.
