My company purchased captivate 5.5 and presenter. I have been added as a contact via LWS. However, the system will not let me download. I keep getting a message that says, "The server returned an error." Can you tell me what's wrong? I have the right system requirements. Should I download the trial versions first and then just enter our serial numbers?

Sorry, but I'm a bit confused by your acronyms.  What is ESD and what is LWS?

I might think that ESD means Electronic Software Distribution. And I'm guessing here that LWS means Licensing Web Site?

Yes, that is correct. They are the acronyms used on the website.

My best guess would be that the Adobe technical dudes are currently getting the licensing site set up for the release of some new whiz bang software they've been working on.  I've noticed that the licensing site goes a bit wobbly at these times.

You may just need to try again a bit later.  If you already have license numbers issued for Captivate, the trial version would probably be fine to start with.  For the full E-learning Suite though, I usually prefer to install from the disk.  Sometimes the download packages don't have all the apps.
