My serial number wont activate the software when i reinstall

Hi

  I recently uninstalled the PSE8 that came with my Canoscan 9000f due to errors.  when i went to reinstall it my serial number is coming up invalid?  Whan can i do?  The software came with my scanner and installed without issue the first time around.  Please advise.

    1. Uninstall PSE 8
    2. Delete the Adobe PCD folder and caps.db file:

       

    • Windows:  \Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe PCD
                      \Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\caps\caps.db
    • Mac OS: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe PCD
                   /Library/Application Support/Adobe/caps/caps.db 

    re-install and then check

    you have to contact Adobe , no one here will be able to help in locating your serial number.
