When I double click Photoshop.exe, the program starts to load. Then I get an error message indication that the application has made an attempt to load the C Runtime library incorrectly. I can click OK and the program will then load. But then I get 2 more error messages: Could not load FastCase Routine module and could not load MMX Core Routine. I click OK and it still works. Anyone have thoughts?
I have this same problem running CS6 on PC/Win7. I tried moving out all the plug ins and still had the issue. Then I moved out a file called "Extensions" from the Plug-In directory. I took a screen shot so you can see the files that are in there (below). I just moved it to a temporary directory so as not to delete it. When I took out this subdirectory with these files, CS6 starts up with no problem and no pop-up error boxes as described by bberg4.
So... The question is. Do I care ? Do I need this subdirectory for something ? As far as I know, I didn't create it, but now that I think of it, I might have copied it from my CS5 plug in directory. I can't recall.
ANyway - Is there anything in here that I need in CS6 ?
Thanks !!
