How obtain new download of Elements 9--purchased product

Photoshop elements 9 purchased a year or two ago. 

 

System redone last couple days(Mac OS10.6.8).   When opening Elements 9 I get the following:  "Configuration error. Please uninstall adn reinstall the product.  I do not seem to have the original download for this product.  All done on-line, first trial, then purchase. I need to download product again apparently.  Help!  Need this.

    Log in to your account on adobe.com and see if your PSE9 download link is still available.

    I went into my account, found my order, and serial number.  Clicked download - goes to screen that gives only option to first load Akamai download manager.  I did that.  Akamai netsession doesn't load.  Says go to browsera loop hereback to my account, download button, AkamaiI desperately need to get my Elements 9 backneed it now.  What next?

    Finally was able to download the Akamai Netsession installer.  Which now seems to be proceeding to download the Elements 9 I need.  Very slow, a two hour install one minute forward, two minutes back, but if it works, no complaints.
