Just want to make sure I can have CS6 on my desktop and laptop with the 1 Creative Cloud sub.
there's a caviate there i think...
prior to CS6 you could have your software on 2 machines..like mt laptop and my tower both had 5.5 on them.
i could not have both of them online at the same time, something about the update system would choke trying to keep both machines right at the same time
or some codie excuse, you know those propeller heads
CS6...hard to get a lot of direct answers sometimes
still a couple of bugs i've already come across
bridge not opening up under file command in after Effects
comes up under effects sub minue, just not file...
sorry got distracted there, a little off topick
so i'll be careful about haveing both machines online
do my email and stuff on laptop and only go online with tower every few days to get windows and adobe updates.
hope somewhere in that diatribe there was an answer for you
I think, the whole thing is a little bit confusing.
You may install the software on 2 different computers, but you my not use them simultaniously.
Prateek Aggarwal, an Adobe employee, wrote in the Muse forum:
As a subscriber to Adobe Muse software, you will have Access to both the Mac OS and Windows versions and the ability to install them on your primary computer and one backup computer. So, you can install your applications on both as long as they are not running at the same time.
According to the Terms and conditions "The primary user of the Computer on which the Software is installed under, (“Primary User”) may install a second copy of the Software for his or her exclusive use on either a portable Computer or a Computer located at his or her home, provided that the Software on the portable or home Computer is not used at the same time as the Software on the primary Computer.
Hope, that helps
Its not confusing , As per the EULA , You can install the software on 2 machine but use one at a time , the whole concept is you can install the software at your office and at your Home so that your work doesn't suffer now you will be at the home or office one place at a time, but with laptopn this has got changed a little bit but the concept remian the same.
You can read this link for details :- EULA FAQ
If you read the EULA it is quite clear. But if you read the Creative Cloud FAQ it is easily to be missunderstood, because most of the users make no real difference bewegen installing and using. Best example: the original poster of this thread.
