jpg's missing or white in content viewer

Everytime I upload my folio onto my content viewer some of the pages are missing my images (see image) and they come up white or even transparent? Is there any way around this? All the images are rgb and "saved for web and devices" to lower file size.screenshot.jpg

    What version of ID? What version of the tools? What format for the folio? PDF? JPG? PNG?

     

    Desktop viewer or iPad? Which iPad

    CS 5.5, everything is up to date. all the images are jpg. Content viewer has major issues, i can scroll through pages then when I get to a corrupt page I can't go back or forward to anypages. Ipad2, I can scroll through all the pages but 7 out of 10 are showing white blocks like the image above and on some the tee from the image above on the left is also gone.

    You didn't say what graphic format you're using for the folio.

     

    This sounds like a memory issue but I certainly wouldn't eliminate the potential for bugs.

    I do have buttons that switch images within two seperate object states. As you can see there's a blue block (button) which when pressed the black shirts turns blue and so with the "white block" which should be a closer image of the graphic on the tee.. the buttons are set to "on release" with the actions set to "go to state"..

    Could they be messing with my folio?

    I'm not too sure what you mean by graphic format? I don't mean to sound stupid or anything..

    You need to choose between PDF JPG or PNG when creating the folio.

    Can you please tell us what you did and if it “fixed” it.

     

     

     

    That format shouldn’t cause a white box but if it did it would help to know what you had chosen and which format you switched to.

    Well I pretty much started the folio again, with the default format set to JPG.

    I also think that the way I worked was incorrect. I set the folio up before we had done the photoshoot, with all the relative info, buttons, hyperlinks etc. and put a "dummy" image in for all the jpgs. When we did the photoshoot I thought I could just replace the "dummy" images but this was not as easy as I thought.

     

    Overall I think from all the relinking the object states with the jpeg's in had been corrupted, so I started again from scratch with the new info you, Bob, had given me.
