Created a sequence with multi channel audio, audio 1 is set to go to channels 1&2, audio 2 is set to go to 3&4. When I playback I see 4 chanels of meter bouncing up and down as it should. I go to export, choose same as source and export a QT, but when I re-import it only has 1 stereo track of audio on audio track 1, audio track 2 that I had set to channels 3 & 4 is not there.
I need to do this in order to supply split channel audio with stereo voice on 1&2 and stereo music on 3&4.
I don't think you can do this with the implementation of QT in Pr, unfortunately. Multichannel export pretty much implies multi-mono.
What you may be able to do is export the QT with just channels 1 and 2 to a stereo output track, and then export 3 and 4 as a separate PCM file. QT Pro or similar may let you then copy the 3/4 stereo into the QT, so you'd have two stereo tracks. QT is fairly flexible in many respects, but I don't know if this is possible or not.
