Form Buttons do not work

May 8, 2012 7:30 AM

I have a multi page form with some buttons

1. a submit button

2. a clear formfield button

3. un each page a "go to table of contents" button

all work well in readerX for Windows, none of them works in ReaderX for Android

I followed a thread in readerX for iOS where ther is the same problem submit form is not possible.

As long as cannot submit the form handling is worthless!!!

it seems it is a problem with javascript, as textboxes with a field validation scrip also cannot be accessed.

Every object that has some script inside is somehow dead and does not react on touch actions.

Our initial submit implementation supports only submitting the full file to mailto urls. We do not yet have JavaScript support in the Mobile Reader. Enhanced submit options and scripting support are items we're considering for a future release.

Many have found the existing support to be quite useful, either by using a mailto submit as described, or by simply emailing the filled form. We absolutely understand (and appreciate) that you want us to do more! Thanks for your feedback.

I was wondering if there was any update to this topic. I am in the same situation where I would like to add a form reset button to a mobile form.

If not the Adobe one, anyone else have an idea on another app to use?
