horizontal spry - blue fuzzy outline

I have created a horizontal spry menu which is great except that there is a blue fuzzy outline that appears around the link when clicked. This only happens in Safari. 

I did read that when using an accordion menu you need to add outline:none in the css somewhere, but don't know if that is what I need to do and if so where to put it.

I'm very new to this and would be greatful for any and all help.
