I have imported all my photos into My Catalog within Photoshop Organizer. Where is that folder actually located. I'm using a Mac and I should be able to locate this folder using Finder ( the equivalent of Windows Explorer), but, I am unable to do so. I read in some chats that Organizer does not store the photos, just flags them or points to their location. Is this correct? My photos were imported from an external hard drive connected by usb. If I unplug the external hard drive will Organizer not be able to find the photos? If it can then Organizer must store the photos somewhere on the Mac hd and that's what I want to find. I tried the search function in Finder and searched a photo by filename and Finder came up empty. Sorry if this has been answered before, but, I'm new to this and new to Mac computer as well. -Keevine
Yes, that is correct. The organizer is just a database, so your photos are wherever you put them intially. Did you import from iphoto? In that case, organizer does make duplicates (to avoid writing into the iphoto library, which would be a Bad Thing to do). If you didn't specify a location, the copies that PSE uses will be inside subfolders in the Adobe folder in your Pictures folder.
