Use the script to move your presets, or copy the files from your CS5 folders to CS6.

When you first launch Photoshop CS6, it offers to move your presets from a previous version.

Or you can run the script manually from Edit -> Presets -> Migrate Presets

thanks chris. i have cs4 as well as cs5 on my imac and the migrate script offers to migrate presets only from cs4.

    Chris,

    i have figured it out.

somehow, during using various versions of photoshop, i now have aliases  of presets scattered around and photoshop wisely ignored these.

fault is my own. sorry to bother.

    thanks, vince
