Improperly installed Shock Wave

In January my college required I use Prezi for a course. In order to do so Prezi instructed me to download Adobe Shock Wave. I attempted to do so but it failed to properly install. It caused numerous issues with my computer including nearly crashing three times. I need to uninstall it or uninstall it and properly install it. When I used the normal method to unistall my screen reads " Could not open INSTALLOG file". Please advise how to unistall, then properly reinstall. Thank you.
