Hello!
The FAQ states that one can pick the language of the apps being installed.
What I'm wondering is if with Creative Cloud, it will be possible to install, on the same machine, the same app in multiple languages.
During the webinar led by Paul Trani, I received the info that having multiple languages requires reinstalls, but it is not clear whether it is the same situation as now: multple installs on top of each other to be able to switch languages, or if an uninstall of the English version is needed before intallation of a localized one.
Hey PECourtejoie,
The Creative Cloud works with AAM for the product installations, you can specify the language in the AAM preferences. You would only be able to install a product in one language at a time but you can choose whatever language you want it to be. To change languages for a product installation you would need to uninstall and reinstall.
Hope that helps,
-Dave
Hi,
Just an update here, you don't need to uninstall any app. Multiple languages are supported from within AAM, however you need to install all the languages one by one. As mentioned above, to install any product in a different language, just change the preference language from within AAM. To bring up preferences dialogue, click on arrow next to your name on top left hand corner and click on preferences menu item.
In short, the info you had originally still stands correct and Adobe Installers work in exactly the same way as before.
