I'm not sure what's going on, but it's bound to be fixable. I've downloaded and installed the Fireworks CS6 trial and it's stalling after performing simple tasks. The only way I know to describe it is like this -- here are a few examples:
- Try to create text, type the first letter and it hangs for about 30 seconds. Does the same after every letter I type.
- Zoom in, it hangs for about 30 seconds and tries to catch up.
- Move a layer in the layers panel, it hangs for about 30 seconds.
In some cases, such as entering text, when it hangs I can minimize the window and then come back and it's ready to go. Of course it hangs again as soon as I type the next letter.
Anyway, it's strange behavior and I'm not sure what to do. I'm on a ThinkPad W510 with Windows 7 Professional and 8 GB of ram.
