will not open!

i have digital editions for mac. when I download books from the library, & then try to add them to my ade , they will not open up.a message that document is for different user account comes up. what gives?

    ADE is telling you that a different user account was used to download the

    ebooks to your MAC.  You should use your Adobe ID and password when

    downloading from a source - and load those ebooks to ADE during that

    process.  The ones you've downloaded are 'dead' to ADE.
