Workflow question

May 9, 2012 11:33 AM

In my LR4 workflow, I end up with "flagged" images I want to keep and unflagged images I want to delete. Both the flagged and unflagged are isolated to a named collection.

QUESTION: What's the easiest way to change the unflagged images to "Rejected" without having to go through the entire collection to sort them out manually?

I'm sure there are many ways ... here's two:

    1. Use the filter bar to find photos with no flags. Set these photos to rejected.
    2. Same thing, but use a smart collection instead of the Filter Bar.

    Capture.JPG

'\' to bring up the Filter Bar, then Attribute, then use the flag icons which are toggle on/off options.

Flag status is selected in the attribute section of the filter panel.

Maybe your filter bar is hidden?

Go to view menu and choose "show filter bar".

Or use the \ on an english keyboard.

Selecting the medium gray flag should be "unflagged".

Then select all images by ctrl a, then x for flagging as rejected.
