Hi everyone,

I have PSE8 and when I click on Organiser it thinks for a while and then nothing.

I have tried deactivating and reloading with no luck. I have tried accessing via Edit also with no luck.

There have been a number of proposed solutions on the forums whcih I have also tried.

Any suggestions?

Was it working previously and has now stopped working?  If you just installed the Photoshop Elements 8 do you receive an error while installing?

Moving this discussion to the Photoshop Elements forum.  The users in this forum should be able to help you troubleshoot your Photoshop Elements 8 application itself.

Can you give us a detail or two about what you tried?

And maybe if you get around to it, let us know what operating system.

In fact, the more details the better at this point ... if you don't mind.

Hold down your Ctrl+Shift keys when clicking on the icon to start the Organizer, and keep the keys held down until the Catalog Manager window opens.  Then create a new catalog, giving it a completely different name, like

    NewCatalog

Let us know if you can then launch the Organizer.

OK, you said that PSE was once working.  What changes did you make to your system?  Did you un-install or install any software?  Install a new printer or update the printer driver?
