Rotation

May 10, 2012 7:18 AM

Hi

Why a circle I drew on the stage, given a speed rotates perfectly and when I import a picture , and make it rotate, it doesn't behave the same way and rotates in a small circle instead of behaving like the circle I drew ? I used the same code for both. Please help explain, be charitable. here are the links

It looks like the point of rotation is not centered on the image

It's always possible the wheel image is not a true circle, and the way it has shading as though a light source is to on side of it will also not be much of a help as the shading spins around (should stay motionless relative to the light source).  The registration marks would need to be located at the dead-ceneter center nub of the wheel, which you should be able to get fairly close to if you zoom in.  If things still look wobbly then the image is probably just not a true circle.
