When I start up the 64bit version of Photoshop CS6 I get the R6034 error. After about 20 times to delete the error message 64bit CS5 starts. This does not happen with the 32 bit version. How do I fix this?
Thanks for following up.
There were no error messages that I saw during the installation process.
The error message comes up when I start the 64 bit CS6 Photoshop the "CS6
logo" starts, but then freezes when the R6034 error windows start. Each
error wiindow closes with a click, but then another one opens. This goes on
for 18 to 20 windows, Then CS6 opens and seems to work fine, including all
the plug-ins from Nik, OnOne, etc.
My Dell desktop system is Win 7 Ultimate, Service Pack 1, 12gb ram and 64
bit OS. The exact same issue occurs on my Dell laptop with is also Win 7
Ultimate, Service Pack 1, 16gb and 64 bit Operating System.
The 32 bit CS6 Photoshop opens with no errors on either PC.
I re-installed the laptop from the Set-up.exe. The were no errors during
the re-install but the same problems occurred after the re-install. The
same R6034 errors occurred, but the CS6 went ahead and started with all the
the plugins and actions remained without any additional steps.
The CS6 64 bit seems to be functional, (whew) but it is a pain to go
through all the error windows. I don't know what if there is anything that
won't work because of the C++ Runtime Library difficulty.

Moving this discussion to the Photoshop General discussion forum. Scregl just to verify that the issue is not related to the installation can you please run the Adobe Support Advisor - http://www.adobe.com/support/loganalyzer/ to see if it detects any problems?
I ran the Support Advisor and it gave me this text:
Inspection could not identify any issues. Please contact Adobe Support for further assistance. http://www.adobe.com/support
The package for support is

This does not look like it's going to help. :-(

Noel, you got it right. I got a Adobe Support chat session and he confirmed that the problem was with some third party plugins. I'll take them out, then add one at a time to fine the villian. With the plug-ins removed the error messages went away. However, since the 32 bit version never had the error I should be able to get to all of them even if I have to switch to the 32 bit version some of the time.![]()
The Nik Software Suite, OnOne Suite, DX0 (v6), Photomatix, Topaz Star Effects, NoiseNinjaPlugin_Win64_2-3-7, and Medial Media Lab Sitegrinder 3 all work fine with no error messages. These all had recent versions available with free downloads.
The problems are in the directories - Automate, Extensions, File Formats and Fitlers all make the error windows show. I haven't got into the details in these directories. Probably from prior versions.
