All elements have become link to outside document

I was working in InDesign, setting up a DPS publication. I borrowed a few elements from another InDesign document. Now suddenly every item I try to click, whether to edit an image, text, or color, automatically opens that other document. I never made links to these elements. I never linked anything to that document. They are not a particular graphic, it's EVERYTHING - every text box, color box, image box, everything opens the other document.

 

Any help?
